Why are travel vaccinations important and how long before I travel do I need them?
Travel vaccinations help to prevent you from contracting infectious diseases whilst travelling abroad. Vaccines achieve this by provoking an immune response, which helps to enhance your body's natural defence mechanism.
It is recommended that you get your necessary travel vaccinations at least 4-6 weeks before your departure date. It is important to note that some vaccinations require multiple doses, which can span across several months.
