Are you worried about your Dark Circles Under Eyes?
Getting extra sleep and trying to drink more fluids are two ways in which we can combat against dark circles under our eyes. However if these things have not worked for you and the circles under your eyes are causing you to feel stressed or unhappy, contact your GP for a thorough diagnosis.
There are a number of things you can do to treat dark circles under your eyes without seeking further medical attention:
- Get more sleep, fatigue or exhaustion caused by a lack of sleep can further darken the skin below our eyelids.
- Elevate your head whilst sleeping, this will prevent fluid from gathering under your eyes.
- Apply cold to the area
If you are experiencing decolourisation and / or swelling under one of your eyes, this could be a sign of something more serious and medical attention may be required.
